Climate-friendly building & renovation: klimaaktiv award for the OeAD-Guesthouse mineroom in Leoben.
In July 2021, a total of 25 completed and 6 planned construction projects as well as one neighborhood from Styria received their award for energy-efficient and ecological construction according to the klimaaktiv standard of the Ministry of Climate Protection (BMK) in Graz, ceremoniously presented by Climate Protection Minister Leonore Gewessler.
klimaaktiv is the climate protection initiative of the Federal Ministry for Climate Protection, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology (BMK). With the development and provision of quality standards, the education and training of professionals, with consulting, information and a large partner network klimaaktiv complements the climate protection subsidies and regulations.
Our OeAD-Guesthouse mineroom in Leoben was awarded the klimaaktiv plaque in gold and the house thus meets the highest requirements in terms of energy efficiency, sustainable planning, and execution, building materials and construction as well as comfort and indoor air quality.
